Default h22a DC SPORTS header

My friend is going to sell me his DC Sports 4-2-1 2 piece ceramic coated header for only $50! It's used.. has some rust on it (usual).. And it has a little dent on the bottom of the header.. I figure for $50 I can't really go wrong. I was also wondering what kind of paint I could use to repaint the header? Would Caliper paint hold up against the extreme heat? Also, this header will go onto an EG hatch with an h22a swap. Tell me what you think!

Anthony

Should I prep the metal at all? Or just go ahead and spray away!

Make sure that there is no rust, if there is, sand it lightly until it is gone.

don't even bother with the DC header at all, it makes no power at all. On an h22 you need to spend good money on a good header to make good power, ie. DTR, SMSP, headertech, hytech...

The stock header would be better? Does HMO send the entire stock header?

The JDM is a very good header. I would run an AN-R, Holeshot, or other race header, but DC. Most of the swaps that Steve sents have the A and B-pipe. So yes, but check with steve to be sure.

Yah, considering I can get a pretty decent looking header for $50? I would really like to know as well. :D
