H22A axles: Whic intermediate shaft do I have? (Pics included)
I am trying to install some new DSS Level 0 axles into my '93 Civic with an H22A swap.
My problem is that the spline on the new DSS axle goes half way down and the spline on the old axles goes all the way down.
Does anyone know what intermediate shaft I have (prelude/accord)?
The axles go in BUT not all the way in.
Did I order the right axles? Any help to my problem would be greatly appreciated!

in the pic you are trying to fit the wrong axle in there, that axle is for the pass. side and the other axle with female input is for the driver side, but you have to switch to a Prelude half shaft for it to work...

Yup, what he said. You have an accord intermediate shaft.

I can't quite remember the reason for the half threads but I want to say it's the wrong inner joint integra/civic possibly not accord/prelude
if you don't have the accord/prelude passenger side inner joint your axle clip wont engage and it will slide out when cornering or hard acceleration...
Correct... Prelude midshaft is needed for that DSS axle setup...
Prelude midshaft: If you do have a problem with that DSS axle setup and midshaft below is the better option...
pass side- male to male- driver side
Accord midshaff 90-93 Ex/Lx: best option...less **** to problems with the Accord Midshaft and Integra Hybrid Axles some use 90-93 Integra OEM axles with a Accord passenger side inner joint.
pass side- male to female- driver side
The OEM Integra axle lengths from smaller to bigger is 88-89 Acura Integra, 90-93 Acura Integra, 94-01 Acura Integra...
So if a 90-93 Acura Integra axle bottoms out and is showing some issues next step down is the 88-89 Acura Integra axle

Re: H22A axles: Whic intermediate shaft do I have? (ESP.net)
I have come to a conclusion. My car has an Accord intermediate shaft and I have bought DSS axles for a '92-'95 civic with an H22 that calls for a Prelude intermediate shaft. My options are:
1. Stay with Accord IS and use '90-'93 Teg axles.
2. Buy a Prelude IS and use my DSS hybrid axles.
3. Send my Civic hybrid axles back to DSS and order some '90-'93 Teg axles from them instead.
As of now, I'm going to buy a Prelude IS and try out my new axles

IN comparison to the Accord IS, here is a pic. of the Prelude IS I bought. Notice how it has a male end on both sides.
