Default H22A in 99 4door civic???

I've seen other people talking about the lude engine into a civic. I also hear of certain difficulties with it, such as steering. Some who have done this swap are satisfied. I have an automatic 4 door LX civic and would love to put in an automatic lude engine. To get down to it, what do I need other than the engine, harness, ecu? What exactly needs to be done to successfully complete this? And what a lude engine will run me and if anyone knows of any shops?? Appreciate it.

Thats the HCP kit in the picture. I can get it at a fairly decent price if your interested. I highly recommend it.

I have been debating if i should take out my b18c5 and try a h22a. Since I have just been offered a great deal for a 99 h22a im highly considering trying it out. Im wondering if the prelude motor would yield quicker quarter mile times...Does anyone know what an integra with a h22a runs..with and without slicks?? Currently my best time is a 13.8 in an integra on street tires with intake headlight ram intake, jdm 4-1 header, a leaked CAT, and some minor weight reduction. Could i expect quicker times with the h22a??

Gzr4dr,

The HCP kits does not involve any custom work at all? even the front mount bolts on?? Would i need to knock in the chassis or firewall anywhere, this would be going into an integra. How much can you get them for?

Also are is there any place that sells the modified axles? Do I also have to have a modified shiftlinkage??

Thanks for any information of advice....

YOU CAN GO TO http://www.ardperformance.com/store/shop/index2.html
AND THEY WILL SELL YOU TRANSMISSION,ECU, AND MOTOR FOR 4K. AND YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE AXLES SO YOU WOULDNT HAVE ANYPROBLEMS LATER ON

hey, for the EK22 kit form HCP, what axles do you use? Are they factory axles or are they custom made axles?
