Default h22 woes help please

I own a 97 ek. I am purchasing a 1997 h22 motor that was swapped into a 1990 accord. I have one problem. The motor only cranks but it doesnt run. There is a red and a black wire running from the distributor that lead No where. I am getting no spark to the motor. I am not sure if these red and black wires have to do with the swap into the accord. Any advice on to what these wires lead to or have to do with would be helpful. Thanks.

Is the distributor internal or external coil? Also make sure those wires aren't the ignitor wires that ran to a msd of some sort prior to you getting the motor?

everything is OEM honda. Yes the coil is in the dist. The wires are just hanging they look like they were once connected to something but not anymore

Allright guys we figured out the problem. It was setup for an external coil. But he left the internal coil still in the distributor. thanks everyone
