H22 Wiring
I just wanna confirm this from all the reading I have just done in the last hour. I will be putting a H22 into my EK hatch, 96. Now I use the 96-98 EX harness and a Euro Spec H22 Distributor. Everything should be pretty much plug and play except extending the wires correct?

Yes the did. The made the H22a up to 01. '96 h22a was the same as the OBD1 (engine, closed deck) but they changed it to OBD2. '97 - 01 had open deck (what makes them a better motor to boost, in stock form). 92-96 = H22a1, 97-01 H22a4.

I really not sure what you are asking, but I will take a stab at it. OBD2 a/b have the same connectors. When you do the swap, it will really not matter what verison the motor is. You may have to do a little research about matching up the wire colors.

yes, And adding wires such as vtec oil pressure, vtec, wiring in injector resistor box, wiring in secondaries, changing out your fuel injector plug to h22 injector plug so your harness can plug up to the h22 injectors, and of course extending some wires. But when you do the swap you'll be able to figure out what wires need to be lengthen.
And if you want to you can wire all the egr components if you want. I didnt because i didnt have all the egr parts and i live where they dont smog me, just safety inspection.
I dont know for sure if the distributor will plug up to civic harness. You might have to repin it. Like i said you will be able to figure things out when you work on it.
What ecu will you be using? I'm assuming obd2 ecu? If you cant find one just use the obd1 p13 w/ jumper harness.
