Default H22 Turbo

I have a 00 SI with a h22. Im building my 2nd motor for turbo. High Boost also, Whut tranny should I go with to hold 1000+hp

Also whut will the stock tranny hold tops.

Basically I would have a track tranny and a street tranny. Street I would have mid to low boost. so only around 500-700 hp

The stock tranny will hold 297.24 hp and not .01 more.

If you're in the 500-700 range, you would have to build the tranny if you want it to last. If you take a look at some of the h22 tranny threads, you'll know that they are relatively weak.

I would look into using the H2B kit and bolting a b series tranny as it can hold a bit more.

If you are seriously making 1000+ hp, well you need to look salenz transmissions. I heard they can beef it up to that point but I'm not sure.

Now, I don't know that much, but if you knew how to get 1000hp outta an h22 wouldnt you have also figured out what tranny at some point down the road? btw bolting an ebay turbo or drilling out the jets on your nitrous kit wont get you anywhere near that number

Well he asked so I gave my answer. You can't make that much power on an H22 but Salenz does claim that their tranny can hold up to that much power from what I heard.
