h22 tranny question
I just order my h22 swap today from Steve at HMO ,will be here this Fri. Well as of all i hope i get the one with the red cherry on top. Anyways after seeing many pics of h22 motor, i see that theres 2 lines going in or out from the back of the tranny, seems to be for some kinda fluid. Well since my D series tranny doesnt have this option, what do i do with and what is it for?

Re: h22 tranny question (CvexH22)
Well in the prelude the power steering fluid runs thru the vehicle speed sensor. Since you putting this motor in a civic just get you 2 rubber caps and cap the holes. You will not use them in your civic . Good luck with the swap. Its very fun when youre done.

Re: h22 tranny question (jdmcivicferio)
i just did a prelude motor swap, i didnt know what those lines were(they are there), and a ton of oil stuff came out of them, and when i fired up the motor(started first try!!) the power steering fluid was drastically low.......so this dude knows his stuff, he's dead on.
