Any codes at all?

Make sure there is also no vacuum leaks and the idle screw adjusted properly.

You also may want to clean the IACV.

HTH.

you cant look at code when you do an obd2 to obd1
and i dont think grounds will make you timing go backwards instead of forwards.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and what is AIVd what ever

well your "brod broddd" isn't saying much either.

And you CAN check codes with an OBD2->OBD1 jumper. Grounds can also cause this as well.

And it's the IACV which means Idle Air Control Valve. Take it off the intake manifold and clean it with carb or brake cleaner.
