Default h22 swap help

wats good. I have an h22 in my eg coupe and the problem I'm having is that my motor won't rev pass 4000 rpm. previously I had a broken tps and it wouldn't rev pass 3000 rpm. I installed one from another throttle body and now it won't go pass 4000 so it made a little difference. I did the timing myself when I installed a new belt but I believe I don't have it perfectly. would bad timing cause that problem? and also I don't have an o2 sensor hooked up neither...any help would be appreciated. the ecu is chipped for the h22 ALSO. P.S. IS IT POSSIBLE TO DRIVE THE CAR WITH THAT PROBLEM TO TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC IF I JUST DRIVE UNDER 3000 RPM.. THANKS

nah I haven't re calibrated it I don't know how to do that what I was thinking was just to unloosen the tps and just slightly move it to see if it makes a difference..

Glad to hear u got that fixed. Put that o2 sensor in! Running without it is ganna make u run really rich and foul up ur plugs if u keep running on it. Also just search on how to calibrate the tps, I've done it multiple times now, cause mine never stays where it should, it's very simple to get the hang of though.
