Default h22 swap having problems

ok I posted in the accord forum and did extensive search so I guess I've been referred to this area. So me and my buddy put a 94 jdm h22a1 obd1 into a 96 accord lx obd2. The car it came out of was wrecked but in that car the engine ran awesome prob because it was a obd1 accord and everything pretty much plugged up. The engine is in the car. We;ve hooked up all the vaccuum lines and electrical to the best of our knowledge via the ultimate h22 swap guide. We're running a jdm i believe is p73 comp for auto trans even though we're using the accord tranny. We used the map sensor from the accord screwed to the firwall with vaccum to the intake manifold. The wires at the ecu that need to be switched have been. the vtec has been hooked up as well. So this is what it does when we start it. It starts but won't hold and idle you have tyo give it gas to keep running. when you let off the gas it sputters stalls, and then the motor spins backwards and shoots air out the intake. It has a CEL but we can't read it with our diagnostics comp don;'t know why. Can anyone go thru this with me or give advise it would be greatly appreciated. also my buddy says its running lean. This is our first h22 swap so we're stuck thanx for any input

another probelm

you switched the wires as if your going to run the PROPER h22 ecu.. but your still running the accord ecu...

well the wires need to be switched back cause you didnt change ecu's!

we are running the h22 computer but the tranny is the stock 5 speed accord tranny the h22 computer is for an automatic but what difference would that make if there's a manual tranny in the car. It's stalling (not idling) without driving so im thinking its some sort of sensor or what not.

yeah my bad its a jdm h22 obd1 comp for auto trans but i'll try to pull a code and get back with you. I'm not sure its a p73 it may be p13 its not in front of me right now I'm at work won't be able to tell until later when the car is in front of me. so other than the comp what would cause the car not to idle

well, if it is really a jdm p13 for auto, then i believe that can be "reprogrammed" or whatever to run a 5speed. i know a 5 speed wont run rite on an auto ecu. i dont know what the symptoms would be either, but u may have them.

ok so its timing plus needs fuel pressure regulator lx only moves about 28 psi as where h22 needs 35-38 or so I was told anyway car runs good.
