Help! h22 swap in a delsol
OK from it looks like in my motor sits diff in my sol than my friends 93civic with the same swap and the same mounts (hcp) i was wondering if anyone has a h22swap in a sol out there and what axles they are running with what mounts?
I currentlly have a hcp mounts, accord intermdiate shaft 90-93 axle, and passenger side 89 intergra axle, I have it raised all the way up(4fingers) and i can still hear some binding when i turn ONLY when i am giving it gas. I was thinking maybe the frame is slightlly diff in a delsol than a civic so slight that you can barelly notice?

here is the one a friend and i did. accord intermediate, 90 integra axles both sides, hcp kit, but we found the biggest problem was the shift linkage.
pic of one of the holes we had to cut to make way for the shift linkage. on the front side of the firewall we cut a notch out so the cables could come up cleanly to the right and hook to the tranny.

No, my car has never been wrecked. I'm using HCP mounts, 89 teg axles, prelude mid shaft. Was using 93 teg exles, had a lot of binding, switched to 89 axles= no binding. And my car is LOW! I can slide maybe 2-3 fingers under my header and oil pan with 205/50/14 BFG drags on front.
