H22 start up problems??
Okay, I recently finished my H22 japan spec motor swap into my eg.
The car runs great for the most part pulls hard through all the gears. Both butterfly vaulves appear to kick in, as well as vtec, all at the appropriate times.
My only problem is start ups. For the most part the car will start up fine.
However if it sits over night and i try to simply start it up it will stall. Then I have to start it again, engine light goes on and it runs fine.
If I turn it off for a short amount of time say 1-3hrs strts up fine (with no engine light) wait about 10sec's and the engine light will go on.
I believe I'm getting a tps and faulty/unplugged sensor codes.
However it should be noted that I have no EGR plugged in, as i simply plugged it up (put a short vaccum line on and put a screw into it).
I have also swapped 2 different tps's can adjust tps with n/p (even metered the resistance).
I can only assume theres a vaccum line problem some where, cuz the tps plug was simply used from stock civic engine harness.
Any ideas/suggestions would be great.
Tried running some searches, but didn't really answer my qst.
Thanx.
