H22 secondaries
how do i tell if my secondaries work and if they don't how can i keep them open all the time because my car feels like the top end isn't all taht strong and i thought it might be because my secondaries are closed all the time please help me out here and if anyone has some pics please share
do you have them wired up?
I would just disconnect the wiring for the IAB's all together, and place a vacuum hose from the IAB valve to the side nipple on the intake manifold.
That way, it'll open when you lay on the throttle, but will remain shut if you have lil throttle on it.
Try it out and see how that works for you. I have this hooked up and seems to work the best.

Ditto, thanks to Poison. The only disadvantage is you lose a little lowend torque at WOT, when they're open there's too much air gettin into the engine ,but it works great, as you can open/close them when you want, really..
yes, if it is closed the whole time it will hurt top end.
I ran 15.4 with the secondaries closed the whole time
Low end will be nice, but top end will suck ***.
This is why I would put the vacuum line on it. This way when you drag it top end will scream.

how can you tell your secondaries are closed and what might cause them to stay closed?
You can't really tell if they are closed all the time, other than to have your car running and rev the motor to see if they open.
