yes or ninety two - ninety six prelude will work with no problems
ninety seven and up prelude will work but it puts the CAI bend too close to the dizzy

What hole? You do not need to make a hole for it

The hole I am talking about is for the piping to fit from the engine bay into the fender well. My car is a dx and doesn't have a hole. Also how big is the prelude intake? I want the type r because it is 3 inches.

Use the ITR intake. It doesnt go through a hole. It rather goes around the chassis by the radiator, and under the bumper. I have a 98 Civic CX with the same mounts and setup as u do. My AEM ITR CAI fit absolutely perfect with no problems, and not cutting. Like it was made for this swap!
