h22 hatch!
what up guys i have a 92 civic si hatch, and i was thinking about swapping an h22 in there, but some people tell me not to because of suspension problems, ( the motor is too heavy ) plus it will be a daily driver. if anyone that knows if any of this is true please let me know thanx alot guys
is there anything else u would have to change if i wanted the h22 in my hatch?

There a few things to think about:
1. H22 EG's *ARE VERY* streetable, you can find many members on this very board who will vouch for that. True, the H motor is heavier than D and B series, but a few simple things can fix this:
A. Stiffer spring rates from custom springs/coilovers
B. Relocating the battery for better weight distribution
2. But dont get overly confident - there is a LOT of work involved. If you dont know what you are doing, this isn't a weekend project to dive into. A few things you'll need to know
A. Custom Engine Mounts
B. Custom Wiring
C. Custom Work on getting the cable transmission to work
D. Special work on the shift linkage
This is only a short list of things you would need to do. Also I can think of new axles w/ intermediate shaft. Blah blah, so much more to do. The H series has tons of potential, just search to find out all the things you will need. Best of luck

Actually those are very good pointers. But you don't want to jump into any swap unless you know the area you're jumping into.
And H series is not THAT much more than B series.
