Icon2 H22 or gsr swap 00 hatch

Well i have been looking into a swap and i guess it comes down to these 2 motors the H22 (h2b) or Gsr just looking for a little more info on the pros and cons of these 2 motors when swapping into a 00 civic dx hatch whats gunna take more $$ to put in witch would be the more difficult swap

Buy the gsr engine then spend some coin on making it a 2.2

power for money, the H22 got it all the way. h22 swaps are cheap (obd1)compared to the gsr. More tq, more hp. **** you could even go with a F20B, same hp as a h22, lil less tq cause its a 2.0. revs just like a gsr. same as a h22 swap/ mate that with a twt4 tranny and your good.

Would the h22 cost about the same to put in do u know ?
I do know the motor is less $$ with more hp but how much more would i need in parts to get it to go in the 00 dx

Not much more money just more skills, mainly because of the shift linkage. But either way I would go h22 then h2b.

I dropped a gsr into my 94 hatch and love it. I was going to go with a h22 but with going turbo, a gsr was more practical for me. H22 will be a little more complicated than a gsr.

being that its a EK not a EG its not bolt using stock mounts. You would still have to get mounts and brackets regardless. Only thing you would really need to do extra are

the header to exhaust needs to be modified

the shift linkage
