H22 EK guys... cables through the firewall?
As I understand you guys have to cut a hole through the firewall to route your shifter cables...
Well to give you guys a little back round on my project I am putting a K24a2 in my Ek and I am going to have to do something similar for my shifter cables. before any of you guys jump the gun and say "no you don't need to go through the firewall with the K swap", let me tell you that this is not the normal K swap and I will be using the TSX trans which the cables are shorter on and neccesitate me going through the firewall.
So where do I have to cut? i don't want to hit anything when putting a hole in my firewall. I took some pictures last night and I'll try to get them uploaded tonight.
I have a 99 DX hatch that I am getting ready for road race duty. At this time everything insiade the car and under the dash is completely stock as it came from the factory (no AC, but I do have and want to keep my heater).
If you guys have any pictures/advice let me have it...

You cut the hole roughly a few inches in front of where you mount the shift plate.
