H22 EK axles, HCP recommended axles, or JDMSHIT.com?
With the HCP EK22 mount kit, is it best to use 90-93 accord intermediate shaft with 90-93 integra axles (as http://www.jdmshit.com) recommends OR is it best to use the 92+ prelude intermediate shaft with 94+ integra axles (as the HCPengineering site recommends)? Thanks in advance

my recommendation would be to use the accord intermediate shaft with 90-93 integra axles....OR...use the prelude intermediate shaft with custom DSS axles.

So with the combo that the HCP site recommends (94+ teg axles w/prelude intermed shaft), are there problems with this combo, or why is it that it isn't as commonly used?

I haven't heard of that combo being used before, so I would not know as far as the usage of it and having recommendation.
If you'd like to go for it, go for it. But from personal experience, the accord mid shaft/90-93 teg axles, and the prelude mid-shaft with custom axles is used by the majority of h22 swapped civic/integras.

I just read on some other thread that this combination was also used:
94+ teg outer joints with an 86-89 integra shaft and prelude intermediate shaft
What do you think about this setup?

How much could I find a accord intermediate shaft for? I found teg axles for $75 each. I already have a prelude intermed shaft. For custom axles, Raxles.com wants $170 each. which way would be the best and cheapest rout?

**** raxles.com , i have pics of their axles form h22 swap, they were junk. 2 broke ont he passangerside in less than 2 weeks, and they were binding the whole time. The splines were twisting off and breaking off in the trani, what a pain in the *****!I will pst pics when I get home. go for the accord midshaft with the teg axles that way if they do break you can just go get to the parts store and get a new one with little down time instead of waiting for custom ones to be made!I will post rale pics later tonight!!!

here are some pics of raxles.com product, mind you I was NOT racing when this happened and this was before I had even moded my h22 swap! These are both from the passanger side, and both broke in a little less than 2 weeks!

Raxles = ****.
And I have not heard of the 94 teg outer and 86-89 inner with prelude mid-shaft.
It might work, but it's highly up to you what you want to do.
Cheapest route and best would be the accord mid-shaft and 90-93 integra axles.
If you want a stronger drive train, stick with the prelude midshaft and get some DSS axles.

The combo of teg 94 + outer joint + 88 shaft and prelude inner it`s a waste of $
The outer joint is the same on 88 and 94 +... the only reason why you have to put the inner of lude it if you use Lude intermediaire shaft. Another way you can take both 88 manuel with accord shaft and you dont have nothing else to do You paid $ you axle I get mine for 50$/canadien each

Re: H22 EK axles, HCP recommended axles, or JDMSHIT.com? (Civic Rs)
i ran prelude intermediate shaft with raxles teg out joints and 86-89 teg lengthed inner joints. i upgraded to a stronger joint which was like 10 bucks each.
i was lowered on coilovers and kyb's abour 2.5-2.75 inches just about tucking stock steels. no problem with axle bind cept in hard cornering.
i rode this combo for about 8 months and like 30g's for miles
now someone else is rolling on them and prolly won't know what to put in place of them when they break. I would like to be the guy at autozone that helps him haha
