Default h22>eg reverse light sensor question?

in all the walk through's i have read they talk about the reverse light sensor having to be swapped out from the original motor to the h22.
i was wondering do i have to rewire the h22 sensor to mate with the d16z6 harness? or do i take a sensor for a d16z6 and put it in the h22 and it will work fine? if the latter is the case i have already gotten rid of the d16z6 and tranny can i use one from a d15b7 since i have a junk one in my parts car?

thanks again for any info.

If I remember correctly, the connectors are different and will not just plug right in, you just have to cut the end off the h22 harness and splice it to the civic harness
