h22 in eg problems... help on wiring!!
my motor has been in for about a 3weeks now and i havent been able to get the car running, i got no spark from the coil to the pack. i checked all the wiring 1 by 1 and its all good. i replaced the distributor cap/rotor and still nothing. anybody help me out on some step by step troubleshooting? oh yeah, i got a 92 si hb with the complete changeover h22a kit from hmotorsonline. anybody recommend anyone down here in texas to check out the wiring? im pretty much **** out of luck and time. my daily driver just turned to a project car and i have nothing lese to get around in.
anybody's help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Sorry, I do not understand what 'pack' you are talking about. Are you getting power to the coil? Have you check the ignitor? You said that you got it from HMO, is it a JDM motor? Do you have the timing set, compression, and fuel?

Seems like the Ignitor may be bad...give that a check, i think the accord ignitor may be the same...try that first.

sorry i didnt mean from the coil to the pack, i meant from the coil to the wires/plugs. when i touch the spring in the distributor it shocks the **** out of me so i know i got spark their. it is a jdm h22a motor from hmotorsonline. as for the timing set, compression and fuel, im not sure. i think the timing might have got retarted when it turned on for a sec. the first time. ever sense it hasnt started. they told me to check the crank sensor too. ill probably check the timing next. i work at the honda dealership down here in laredo,tx so i have the honda tech doing the swap but they never done a hybrid swap especially with a jdm motor. so im not even sure the wiring is correct. we used the h22 bible for the wiring. laredo is located 2 hours from san antonio. (bordertown).

Geez. You should consider yourself lucky that a part you can use from your stock motor was what you needed to get your motor running.
