h22 civic problems

Default h22 civic problems

allright hers the problem i have a 94 civic hatch and a 2000 h22a4 in it everything is in, it starts but it only seems to run on 2 or 3 cylinders i ahve no idea what it could be i think it is piston 2 or 3, because when i look at the spark plugs 2 and 3 are wet. i have no idea what to do oh and im using a jspec p13 computer

make sure your spark plug wires are correct. is the "wetness" fuel or is it coolant? if it's fuel, it maybe incorrect firing order of the spark plug wires. if your wires are correct, than do a compression test to see if there is any compression, if not, maybe head gasket.

check your spark plug wires first though.

yeah i dont think that it is the head gasket because there is no coolant they smell like gas the spark plug wires are in the right place to i think it might have something to do with the way that i wired up the dist. mabey, need help!!@!@!!!!!!

you didn't need to wire the dist. but you need an internal coil dist. let me know what u did b/c iwired mine and don't even have a cel.

Sounds like a spark problem. Check the integrity of your spark plug wires with a voltmeter, measure resistance across the wire.I think its 1000 ohms of resistance for every foot. (?) The next thing to check would be your cap/rotor. And try decreasing the gap on the problem plugs.
