Default H22 1 plug Dizzy Question.. Pic inside (please help)

ive got a H22a in an EK. the dizzy is a standard prelude dizzy (TD-60U), but the standard td-60u dizzy's are a two plug.. where as mine is a one plug

here's a picture of the plug

TD-60U dizzy's usually have two plugs, one like this (but only 7 pins not 8) and they have another little seperate plug

ive searched around and asked alot of people and they dont know whats going on.. the only thing i can think is the two plug has been modded to a one plug. but i dont see why and how

the problem is i need to change the dizzy but i dont know what to buy. ive bought another td-60U.. will i need to modify that ?

hopefully someone knows what i am talking about

the two plugs are for an obd-1 dizzy, 1 plug is obd2. what year ek and what trim will decide what dizzy to use. i personally just add the plugs to the existing engine wiring harness, stripping and soldering each wire, and keep both the obd1 and obd2 dizzy plugs for easy of swapping out. i believe they also sell distributor adaptors. check out xenocron, moates, and possibly rywire..they should have what you need. makes it easy if you're not into rewiring.

^^ actually it does matter... the 99-00 civic's are obd2b, and the 96-98 civic's are obd2a. the obd2a and obd2b distributor plugs are different from one-another. just an fyi
