how costly and how difficult, would it be to swap a 95 h22 into a 00 SI?

This is the list that I've comprised so far of things you'll need.
engine (96 or up and you won't need to wire in a resistor box)
Prelude ECU
tranny
HCP mount kit
86-89 integra axles with a prelude intermediate shaft
Longer fuel line
shift linkage from prelude
90+ Accord or 92+ Prelude shifter
Throttle cable from accord.
That's as far as I've gotten, maybe somebody else with more knowledge and fill in the rest. It's a start.

Why??? For the money that swap would take, you could have one nasty turbocharged B16A2, or even a turbocharged ls/VTEC. Why buy a 00 Si if you want to swap the engine anyway? Why not a 00 DX hatch? Not too pratical in my opinion. Plus in some states, isn't it illegal to put an older engine in a newer car? I wouldn't do it.. I think it's a waste of money.

as far as why. already have a 00 SI. can sale the b16a2 and won't be out that much money. and it would be a great sleeper. on the swap, what about wiring?

h22 in a 00si is stupid move. Either go LSVTEC or B20VTEC or drop in a GSR or ITR block with a b16 head combo. I went b20vtec and im happy with it.

I don't know why you would call it a "stupid move" when a H22 in an EK coupe is actually very fast (I know... I've driven/ridden in two of them... both converted to OBD-1 for max power) and I've ridden/driven in a high comp B20-VTEC EK coupe and EK coupe with ITR swap. I'll say from experience (not being biased) but the H22 coupe is much faster than a ITR motor in the same chassis. With a high comp B20-VTEC (I'm talking 12:1), it felt actually very similar, if not a little bit faster with the B20-VTEC, but that's after lots of money into the B20-VTEC setup and building that up.... about twice the cost of a H22 swap.

You can get whatever the hell you want to for your car, but I'm just saying that a H22 in a EK coupe is very quick and can easily beat a lot of other cars... this is from first hand experience.
