Default H-Car 85 CRX J35

Just wanted to show everyone the most recent shop project. As you can see everything had to be custom made. The car should be completed by the new year. If you have any questions feel free to ask. (If anyone has front fenders let us know)

Thanks,
Jorge

I loved the h2b crx before but this is way better.

Are you doing a custom harness or are you going to try to graft something into the existing harness (entire car)?

J-swap in a 85 crx, you guys would be the first. lol

Where do you keep finding these straight bodied, rust free 84-87 shells? They're hard to find in that condition down in the south.

Thanks man, the H2B Crx was something different as well. We'll be sharing more information on that soon.

The harness is a stock automatic pilot converted to full standalone using AEM and RD1 gauge cluster (fuel pump out, power and ground). The light harness will be custom as well.

We still don't know why we attempted this but we are always trying to do different things. We know where there are three more clean shells sitting in a back yard around here owned by some old people

Have you came up with possible ideas to eliminate or better the current torsion bar setup on these cars?

What are you planning on doing with the front suspension? I think the only company that makes anything for it is Tein, they have a setup that uses coils. unless you custom make something?

The H2B Rex uses tokico illumina 5 way adjustables and worked pretty well, the only issue is it still lifts alot off the line because it uses stock torsion bars. On the v6 we plan to run medieval pro torsion bars. The front suspension isn't that big of a concern since the car will spend more time on the street than the track.

while looking threw the photos i noticed that you welded the brackets for the motor mounts. my question is where can i find just the cylinder part of the mount with out the bracket welded to it? im doing a motor swap on a teg and want to make my own mounts for it. i would really appricialte your help with where to find the mount by it self with no brackets. thanks for you time.

You can call innovative mounts direct , they should be able to sell you just the mount housing . or you can get it custom cut at a steel supply store , to your custom dimensions. i will share more pics soon .

goodproyect . if u need any help just let me know. saludos a todos en la dominica!
