IS IT A GSR OR TYPE R????
i recently bought a jdm b18c type r motor. i was told it was a type r. the bottom block says its a b18c. the valve covor is black. head is p72. it looks like a jdm gsr. is there any visual charecteristics to tell the 2 apart?

What do you mean the block has PR3 written on it? Where? Only place youll fine PR3 writen on a block is on the piston (but if you have PR3 pistons then you have B16 pistons, type R are P73). If it says B18C then you probably have a GSR.
