you look at your axle? they might not be in all the way. that won't let you go in gear happened to me on my jdm gsr swap.

can u put it in gear with the car off? if so what happens when u put it in gear, then turn the car on? if the car starts jumping with the clutch mashed in, i would say it has gone bye bye....

i just had a similar problem on my car, it would go into gear when the car was off but when i started it , couldn't put it in gear, THIS DIDNT HAPPEN EVERYTIME but more times than not; I replaced the slave and master cylinder in the clutch system, and the problem seems to be fixed

More often than enough, this is caused by your clutch not being able to disengage. Whatever you do, don't force it in. I know someone who did that and well...he no longer has a 3rd gear.

Have you tried to put it in gear with the car off, then start it while it's in gear while pushing in on the clutch? If it grabs like the clutch isn't pushed in then it's not disengaging. The problem is likely the throwout bearing being either off place or jacked up.
