Default going H2B

well as I have posted on my previous thread I'm going H2B. This build is going to be something i can drive on my days off from work and take down to the track once in a while. im looking to stay all motor go up to like 2.6 maybe. right now im looking at a 100mm crank. looking to go like 13:1 compression. will i be able to tune and run on 93 octane? and also what do ya think about that compression and a 100mm crank? this is just my beginning im trying to gather up all my info and my parts. so far the swap came with a built tranny. i got a golden eagle intake mani, and 70mm t/b.

thanks. im looking to start taking the motor apart maybe beginning or mid winter to start sending out to machine shop for boring out sleeving decking etc... also for some mild head work. right now im looking at cranks from brian crower, golden eagle or pocket rocket racing. i thought about going turbo for a bit, but these motors is beast and can put down numbers at the track that are incredible. maybe next time around ill shoot for a turbo build...

13:1 is gonna be close on 93. Why not just 12.2 or 12.5? What are you using for rods/ crank? How high do you think you want to take it? What cams?

well as i said im still in the process of gathering all my info and parts. crank will most likely be like 100mm with like a 90mm bore im shooting for 2.6 liter. as far as rods and cams idk bout rods yet but im certain cams will be something extreme ill need to use like skunk2 pro 3 or brian crowers. but again i dont have a full outline as of yet when i do i will post it up here to get some input on the more experienced H2B guys...

hmm I was gonna say why not use an f22 crank/rods = 95mm stroke or an f23 crank/rods = 97mm stroke. Cheaper.

was gonna say something along these lines. i'd run race gas the stroker kits putting enough stress on the motor. if its not going to be your daily jus run race and squeeze a few extra horses. btw its a lot better for your motor.

but then again although its not my daily driver its not like im going to drive it a mile or 2 when i drive it i want to enjoy it so if 13:1 is so extreme to where id have to run race gas id rather lower it to 12.5:1 ill be happy putting out numbers in the 275-300 zone.
