I look around and see a lot of comments about H23 VTEC engines being bad, mainly due to the spinning of the bearings or lack of integrity of the crank. I have an H23 block sitting in my garage waiting to be built up for a mere 300hp, boosted of course... What are the necessary precautions i will need to take to make sure this bottom end will be bulletproof? I would like to get JE pistons to drop the compression, will this require me to need to resleeve? How should i prep the crank?
