Re: Full hydro conv in a da
I dont have pics but I just pulled off the Hasport kit on my firends CRX to replace it with I believe it to be a hush power or hush 22 hydro conversion kit. I will get back to you when I can remember the name but it is a far better kit with no cable at all.

since your car is a DA you probably need to get crx pedal assembly and put that in with the kit pm hush22 it really is a legit kit comes with everything you need

Hush Performance aka (hush22) Hush22 being my user because when I got into Hondas In 1999 I owned an 90 Accord that I swapped an H22 into. The car was a sleeper hence H-ush-22. People in my area knew me as hush22 rather then my actual name so when I opened my shop in 2005 I called it Hush22 Performance. Over time people started thinking I only worked on H22's which is not the case at all. So I dropped the 22 to Hush Performance.
The EF like our DA conversion does require it to be installed under the dash.
Reason being it that it is a bolt on kit requiring one hole to be drilled. The rest of the install can be done using simple hand tools. It is not the easiest job and if i had to rate the install on a scale of 1 -10 for a newbie Id rate it as an 11.
Making a kit that is mounted outside the car creates entire new issues if removing the cable from the equation is what is desired.
Please remember these cars were never intended to be hydraulic. Given the lack of room and designing bracketry that the masses (non mechanics/non fabricators) are able install is challenging.
If you can bleed brakes you can install this. The dash does not need to be removed but the pedal assembly does. getting to that requires you lower the steering column etc....
Here is a simple video of how the Hush Performance DA hydro conversion works.
This was during product testing. It is very expensive to run a huge campaign so I apologize for limited information and better pictures and video's
As of right now I letting my vouchers and past customers speak for our work. google hush22 or hush22 hydro conversion and you will find at least 8 pages worth of testimony.

Re: Full hydro conv in a da
I personally have the sonem kit in my crx and its great. only thing it eliminates the air duct from the center vents to the driver side vent, which aint a problem for me since i dont have ac anyway.

Re: Full hydro conv in a da
That's awesome! I've personally have installed a SONEM after I had developed my first bracket for my crx. They came out with a production model a year before I did, so KUDOS to them for sure. When I saw theirs i thought I was over thinking my own. A customer had brought me one to install. And yes it works. There are specific portions of my own that I appreciate the time I took in engineering. Not by any means would I ever knock theirs. The production of our model was by popular demaned in my area, soon after that I started getting calls for more. At this point its just up to the customer to decide which they would prefer. The DA pedal assembly is about 100% different then the EF. Our DA bracket is built specifically for the DA pedal assembly in the DA chassis. Either one does require the removal of the air ducting.
