Here are my stats on my car, and what I want to do:

I own a 2000 Civic DX Hatch (usdm). It has the non-vtec D16y7, and its slow as hell.

I am about to order a jdm B18B ( LS) from jspecauto.com. I am fairly new to the whole swap thing, and as much as advice as I can get would be awesome.

I would then like to take a b16a head and put that on there. I have been given a price of 400...that sound reasonable?

Why not go for the B20 block? Anyway, $400 for the head is not bad if it's the 99-00 Si but if it's an old first gen B16A then I would look somewhere else.
