i got a freind who is doing a h22 swap in a 96 ex hatch..questions are we just got it done today. have headers on it but no downpipe that is being welded monday so we have the o2 sensor pluged in but not in the down pipe just hanging on the bottom of car. also TPS is broke. so we tried starting it and it would not start it would try to but just wouldn't fire.. so we shot a little bit of starting fluid in the airfilter box and it fired ran real ruff and would bogg reall bad but i think that is because no downpipe and no back pressure.. the other question is we got it started and put it in gear and it would go no where clutch feels good, but don't even grab a little. no reverse nothing. but when u go from like first to second to third etc. the speedo reads like we where moving so that means VSS is working i guess.. any suggestions or thoughts would help thanks

 

if my speedo is going fast when i shift but i still am not moving anywhere could it be that the clutch is gone or is my tranny all messed up ?? thanks
