Nice!
U have a new and bigger intake?
What is it? Is it an AEM for a GSR?
It does not look like it passes through the regular stock air intake hole in fender.... or does it?

She runs like a champ. I've only been into vtec twice up to 6000rpm - I am supposed to be breaking it in
The low end and midrange is crazy. I thought I would lose some of tht power by changing manifolds, but I assure you that it has much more power down there. I broke the tires loose in 2nd a 4000rpm on 3/4 throttle!
The intake is an ITR version - 3". Fits really well, just had to drill and tap 1 hole. It actually wraps around the frame rail, not through the hole. I had to relocate the overflow tank.
I hope to get a viedo up after she is broken in. Maybe a full run at autocross

NICE SETUP!
I was reading your other post and you said you got your block hot tanked, did you also get your head hot tanked too? How much did that cost, did a machine shop do it for you?
Did you get it overbored at all? how much?
What is your CR with the ITR pistons?

Very nice man. Love the wing. What did you have to do to the intake to make it fit? Where did you relocate the coolant resevoir?

Re: Finally on the road... (BLK94RS)
Yeah I had the head tanked as well and a 5 angle valve job along with new springs. They also decked it - removed .003"...
The head was $400 for all the labor. Block was $1300 with labor and all the bearings/seals/gaskets. Pistons were $250 or $275 - I don't remember. I would have done EVERYTHING myself except I don't have a all the tools
All the work was done by King. They are the only guys I trust around here to touch anything of mine. Besides they are only 30 minutes away and a very nice bunch of folks. http://www.kingmotorsports.com
The CR was calculated to be 11.85 without the Mugen gasket - so maybe 12.05:1 with the thin gasket I used. Bore was .25" over.
To make the intake fit well I took about 1" of length out of the middle section where you see the yellow coupler - don't worry I'm changing that to a black coupler when I find one
I'm hitting the dyno in a few weeks.

Re: Finally on the road... (jdmhatch)
I moved the overflow can just to the right (driver's side) of the radiator down low. It's not too close to the header. Everything looks like it will work out. Time will tell.
I want to mention a couple of other items regarding brakes. After driving it for 200 miles now, I must say I am impressed with the full GSR conversion. The key to getting excellent feel and stopping power is in the master cylinder. The stocker is a 13/16" which doesn't move nearly enough fluid. You get decent brake, but it comes on about .5" from the floor. I used a 1" GSR booster and master. Much much better. I'm toying with the idea of going to the ITR rotor/caliper right away. My buddy has a wrecked prelude with 1300 miles on it. It's so tempting.
Weight reduction - don't attempt this at home
This car is pretty gutted. I removed all of the following:
-airbags
-rear bumper beam
-entire HVAC system including controls
-wipers
-sound deadening material
Before you flame me keep in mind I did not build this as a street car. I will drive it on the street occasionally to get to the track or autocross or maybe to a BBQ with the buds. All of that weight reduction puts me in D Mod for autocross. I don't really care however becuase I go to autocross to have fun and work on my skills - not really to compete.
My goal is to end up with a sub 2000lb car that nets about 185 - 200 whp.
I get my racecar '86 CRX Si ITA back from the cage builder next week. I had plans to get my regional license next weekend, but I went over budget on the hatch project and my cage builder is 2 months late. Too many variables that went in the wrong direction for me to get that license. Next year Here's a mock up of the rex:
