Default FI or NA.......that IS the question

which do you guys think would be the most rewarding and the most fun. i don't have a huge budget to begin with. IF i can get my hands on a JDM ITR engine swap for a reasonable price, ill go NA....if not, ill most likely just get a B18C1 and turbo it. my goal is to have a mean street car, daily driven. im not too much for timeslips, but getting into the mid-low 13s would be more than enough for me...give me your thoughts/ constructive criticisms...

Well with a GSR/turbo hybrid you will definitely be in the low 13's, possibly even in the high 12's at only like 10psi.

But, damn you would definitely have bragging rights with a JDM ITR sittin' in that engine bay. Don't know what that would run...prolly low 14's, high 13's.

I vote for the GSR/Turbo hybrid though!!!

WOW, a Jdm ITR that would be sweet I'd say easily low 14's, but if you can't get that I would look at a turbo or charger, Either one will get you to the point your looking for.

N/A ALL THE WAY!!!!!!! I am biased, i hate turbo. If you want to get something and boost it then that's what you have to do. But N/A is so much more fun. Not only do you spend tons of cash and time but you learn alot. Don't get me wrong boosting is good if you want to go fast, but why take the easy way out. (for the record i HAVE built a boosted car and i know what it takes to get it to run right) It really shouldn't matter what engine you get cause you would want to change the compression. Go to 12:1 on 94 octane... it's a trip. Spend tons of cash, sleepless nights, and alot of time tuning and building a N/A car and you won't have to worry about much more than an oil change. Things can and do go wrong for both camps though so be prepared to make the adjustments to your bank account. I apologize to those i have offended with my N/A talk... you know how we slow asses are...lol... it's all in good fun and we are ALL on the same team in the end no matter what we run.
