Few quick h22 eg q's
I know for a fact that these have all been beaten to death.. But I can't find them anywhere
Thanks for help, if you help. No flaming. Thanks.
1. What's a good clutch/flywheel/pressure plate combination for an h22?
2. I know there's a company that makes a custom testpipe for the h22 header to meet the civic EG exhaust... don't know what it is though.
I know I have more questions... I'll ask them as I remember them
Thanks!

I tell people to get a replacement exedy clutch to keep the costs down. I have seen them hold 165 wtq with no problems. If you plan on turboing it or a big na build (higher RPMs), you should look into a better clutch.
Sidenote: Rotieatter (thats his SN on here) gets good deals on clutches and other parts you may need. He will help you out with good prices.

You talking the stock h22a header? Because it is longer (alot) then b/d-series. You will have to cut the exhaust rither way. I have never seen what you are talking about.

Konis and ground control. One of the better systems out there. You can get the whole set-up for about 750.
Search the road race forum for info on spring rates

What mounts you running?

Re: (93preludeh22)
hasport mounts
Exedy clutch seems to be doing well with my h22R
i have Jun Flywheel but, i have ran and would have ran a Clutchmaster flywheel if i were not to have gotten that flywheel in my deal. As i have had about 4 of them now in various cars and they were great.
Lcon traction bar is what i will be going with soon.
I run a NEX full coilover have ran them in about 4 differen EGs now with different swaps and like them alot better than any spring/strut combo i've had or ridden in.
I am also planning on buying the megan racing H brace seems like 50 dollars well spent

Re: (Sixgundone)
if you think about it. Even if it is cheap... It will still tie the front of the car together well in combination with a Tractionbar LCAs with new bushings good UCAs and that Hbrace seems like it would make for a pretty nice setup up front..

Re: (HavokB18)
1. For your clutch, I'd go with an ACT extreme pressure plate, ACT hybrid street disc, and ACT ProLite flywheel. It's a great combination and it doesn't cost that much. Mine is holding great!
2. Get your test-pipe from http://www.kteller.com. I got a 2.5" stainless from Mike (at KTeller), and it's great!

I would like to know this also.

last civic h22 swap i did i put the oem h22 header on, and had to remove the civic cat, and at that point the header was abotu 2 inches from the exhaust system.
usually what i do is cut and weld in a cat and flage to bolt to teh header.

well, everyonnce in a while is ok, its not that bad really. i mean, i drive mine just about every day, and its easier if ur car is hydraulic instead of cable... but overall, i think its very streetable.
