you're problem comes when you have to build a custom flex plate, because all of the kits are made for manuals with flywheels and clutch plates. also it would suck. i'm pretty sure you would rip that auto trans to bits.

another thing, you would have to find an ecu to work with the trans and the engine... that's the biggest challenge. you'd be better off putting together an entire F2D with a manual gearbox, and while you have the engine bay empty of the old motor and auto trans, convert to manual. easier.

what kind of car do you have? is it an EG. if so its pretty easy to do an auto to manual swap. and instead of F2D i'd sell all the d stuff and go H2B. much better setup and not too expensive. the Gearing and FD in the factory B trans is much better than your D trans. and especially since you have to go and buy a manual D trans. spend that money on a B trans. Good luck! if you go H2B i know you will like it. the power is great and is comparable to a Stock K20 swap.

For alot more torque for one. It would make a great DD if you could figure out the transmission part of it.

The thought of a long geared, automatic, 4 speed transmission makes me sad inside
