Default f2b

im sorry if this has been asked but i looked real quick and i didnt see anything.

ive always been all b-series and im jus now lookin at these h2b and f2b swaps. still learning alot but...

i figure when f2b is talked about, the accord engine is wats assumed but since ur using a b series tranny can u use an f20c outa the s2000 and still use it as a front wheel drive in a civic?

Nope, but you could use a K-series transmission. And, before you ask, yes it has been done before a couple times.

I believe all the housings are the same so if you know someone that is good at wiring they would probably be able to make any of them work... although im not sure y you would even want an s2k engine as they are pretty maxed out from the factory and for what you'd be spending you could just do a k20 and avoid the headaches of doing a little known swap.

K24 housings are different than K20 housings.

I don't see the point in an F2K swap.

now that ive read alot more and asked alota questions... ur right. there is no point. k20 swap is better cause an f20c is pretty much already maxed out and if u want anything else other than JUST an f2k swap than its better to go k20

so how are you guys claiming that the S2K motor is "maxed out" If that were the case then there wouldn't be guys making any where between 500 and 1000HP (which they are) there are tons of aftermarket mods to increase the power of this motor.
And It has also been stated that the F2K swap wont make as much power as a K swap hm..... well the K20a Type r motor makes 220hp and redlines at 8600rpms and the F20c has 250hp and revs to 9000rpms

so tell me how that is less power

I dont mean to take up space on the OP's thread but it just doesnt set right with me....
I would love to do a F2k swap because it is out of the "norm" everyone has B series and everyone wants to do K swaps and now the cool new trend is the H2B swap

If you wanna do the F2K swap then go for it bro i think its a pretty bad *** swap

all these people that gotta hate on a motor swap because it isn't a K swap make me wanna rock a Dseries for the rest of my life

anyways thats my .02

I'm down with the F2K
