I've done some searching and couldn't find the answer to the question....


I have a 92 hatch (VX) were putting in a h22 so i want to upgrade the brakes...

I have a EX coupe scrap car at my house and took the front brake assembly (hub, knuckle, spindal, etc...)

I was going to buy GSR stuff to put on the hatch but since this EX stuff is here I figured i might as well use it, after i found out the GSR rotor is the same size as the EX rotor...(check part numbers)

my question is....since the GSR caliper seems to be different then the EX.....if i get GSR calipers will they bolt right up to the EX assembly?? If not ...would i need a bracket, or have to get the GSR spindal/hub???


Also will this make a difference?? if its not worth it....i'll just stick with the EX stuff and upgrade to steel lines & get better rotors & pads.

any info on this would be helpful...

The EX caliper body is the same as the Integra (all 3G Tegs except ITR use the same brakes), so the only difference is the bracket that holds the pads. Honda in it's infinite wisdom chose to put a different shape pad on the EX. So you can use the EX calipers as long as you get the correct pads...no need to get Integra calipers...
