Euro R conversion
PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST!!
Ok so I got an H22a Euro type R complete change over(engine, lsd tranny, ecu, axles, etc) sitting in the back of my truck right now and I NEED HELP on what exactly I need so I can drop this thing into my 1993 BB1 prelude. I want to run my stock OBD1 ecu. I know for a fact that this engine comes from an 2001 accord and is OBD2. I bought the engine from hmotorsonline and they told me that I had to do alot of replacement wiring and use some of my stock parts for it to fit and work Properly. But here's the thing, and I'm gonna be a man about this, I forgot most of what he said needed to be replaced. I can remember the following replacements:
1) use stock motor mounts instead of accord mounts
2) don't use the accord axles. use stock
3) need a new harness for the engine
4) an adapter plate for 2 wire IACV(i think that's what its called)
Since I need to get this bar'd because I live in CA, I am gonna use my stock exhaxst and intake manifolds so I can pass that and smog. But as soon as I pass I want to swap the JDM ones in. Also keep in mind I would love to keep my P/S, so what else will I need in order to keep it? Please Help Me!!
