Engine swap for an Integra

Engine swap for an Integra
I apologize in advance for my ignorance, but I have to ask in order to learn. My question is for people who are willing to take the time and educate others.
Basically, can any engine be swapped into an 94 Integra? What are the requirements? If you have an automatic transmission, can an engine swap be done? If not then why. What if the engine came from another car that was an automatic, for example a V6 Accord.
If I wanted to research things in the future regarding engine swaps and forced induction, where should I begin? How do I go about it?
