Default Engine Swap Costs?

How much does a shop charge typically to install a motor into a car? More specifically a b18c1 into an EK HB. I know there is more to it then simply bolting in the motor, but out the door how much is a good price? I'm asking because I have no experience in this area, and i'd dont want a shop to give me bad info on pricing.

3000-3500$ for the full swap depending on where you look, what you need, mounts ETC.
for install 500-700
ive said it before and ill say it again. its worth the extra money to have the engine installed by a reputable shop rather than the guy in the parking lot of your local aftermarket parts store saying "*psst* i can install that engine for 75$"

Superduper:
I might be interested but i'd need to talk to you a lot about it to make sure everything will go smoothly. I figured if I took it to a shop that also sold the motors they would take care of everything else I need. What exactly do I need?

to anaheim? i dont think we woul do house calls because of transporting the hoist and stuff. Whut do u need? motor, tranny, ecu, axles, shitft linkage, oil, coolant, oil filter, and whutever u wanna upgrade.
The thing with having a shop do it is that theyll fit ur exhaust and everything. If urs is like mine where the stock cat is off the header, so gotta get a different cat or roll straight pipe. The donwpipe on my GSR header bolted in straight to my stock CX pipiping, i juss had a muffler shop make it fit. They can do it for like 30 bux. but if ur still interested, i still have to ask my homies if their interested too.
