Default engine no worky!!!

ok, h22 is in. it looks good, however...it doesn't run. No spark. I have tried just about everything i can think of to remedy the problem, but have not had any luck.
checking grounds
new ICM
good coil
checked wiring about 34956329845 times over
new ECU
I am baffled. If anyone has any ideas, please post!
thanks.

your ignitor is most like bad. call the place that you got the swap and tell them that your dizzy is bad and they will (maybe) send you a new one!

PS: if it is Steve from hmotors, he will send one for sure

Edit: thanks poison for the spelling help, another reason for poison to be Mod.

Could be the ignitor. (kenny )

But I would suggest replacing the plugs, wires, then cap/rotor, and if all else fails, replace the Ignitor.

HTH.

if the ignitor is the little part that looks about as small as a book of matches and has like 4 or so connections comming off it, then i already replaced it. any other ideas?? thanks.

ECU and Starter fuses. ECU under hood, starter under dash.

Does your CEL (check engine light) come on and go off after 2 seconds when you put the key in the ON position?

Ok, it's most likely something inside the distributor.

Replace the plugs, then wires, then cap/rotor, and if those fail replace the ignitor.

New to you or brand new? Have you tried an ECU you know to be good?

try what turbogixxer and poison said. it is a common problem that the dizzy and the wires and plugs are bad. Try that and then go from there.

are you sure your OBD2>OBD1 harness is good? I suggest you check the harness on a different car to make sure.

there is a ground wire in the engine harness that bolts on with a 10mm bolt to the thermostat housing if it is off you will not get spark. i dont know if this is your answer but i sure know that me and my friend pulled our hair out for two days tring everything like new coil other dizzys everytyhing and it was a bastard ground off on the thermostat housing. let me know if this helps
also even if the ground is off you will still get power at the dist and ground and all that jazz. i cant stress it enough grounds are everything check em again if you cant findthat ground email me ill send you a pic
