Engine conversion
Is it possible to convert my '90 Civic hatchback 1.3 with PGM carburetor
(D13B21005494) to FI ? I'm thinking about to replace the intake with the
injectors and the ECU from a 1.5i or other FI motor.
Is this possible ? If yes, what parts I need to replace and what will be the
approx. cost ?

Re: Engine conversion (pzoltan67)
So Yes it's possible, like everything, if you got time and money, therefore It'S a ****'n freeking job.
You will need the intake manifold (don't know if you want to take a MPFI manifold can be the best thing)
you will have to get some wiring, wiring scheme,
ECu for shure, and some patience,
Just start to get your carburated manifold out and then replace it for the other,
then wired only the injector to the ecu, and it's alimentation, and all the crucial things to evitate you the ''help me'' mode,
I think that it's would be easier to get a modified carbs on those, if you think passing to FI it's a easy/cheap mods, nope, it's long and hard, costly too cause you will have to get the car in a garage to get the injector calibrated,
I don't want to **** up your dream, but why don't get a Modified carb
I don't know very much about carburation But I know a 4 barrel got more power than a 2, I don't know if Holley make one for civics??????
Just do what you wants with this infos, But personnaly I would go for all carbs mods. you have to know that you won't get a lot of power of this conversion!! you won't be able to faster as any B16, or D16, but you will got something that will look a bit like the start of a project!,
Good luck man!!
