Engine Choices???
Im going to be making a hybrid out of my CX hatchback. Ive been thinking about putting a B18C5 in there, but i cant spend that much money. So here are my choices,
1. GSR B18C1
2. LS/VTEC
3. CR/VTEC B20 with B16A head. (Anyone know how much this swap would cost me?)
4. B16A3
I reallllllllly want to do the B20 with a VTEC head. Ive never seen it done before. Could someone make a list of cheapest to most expensive.

4 I think would be the cheapest. 2 and 3 would probably be about the same. 1 would definately be the most expensive. A B18C1 will usually cost at least $3000 just for the motor.
The CR-VTEC is a good choice. Lots of torque with the VTEC will make the little CX hatch a monster.

I'd get ahold of HX_Guy from this board. He has a CRVTEC currently.
Personally I'd suggest the B18C1. It's expensive, more so than the others, but it also enjoys much more aftermarket support. What parts can you NOT get for a B18C1? In triplicate?

CRVtec all the way. Did one a year ago and that thing is still running strong. It averages like 25k miles a year cause it's a commuter car. Runs perfect.
