ek h22 costs
just like the topic says i was wondering what everyone had to pay for their h22 swaps in ek chassis. i'm looking for more of the guys that swapped and did everything themselves than having a shop do it all for you. it may seem to be a lame question but thats on of the deciding factors in making the decision on wether to do this swap or not.

I went with alot of big ticket items and extras, but it ended up about $5,000 or so with everything perfected. I also had custom axles, custom radiator ($500, which was completely unnecessary), and I replaced just about every part and piece there was. I can email you a list if you'd like. I could've easily not replaced so much and saved about $1,500 or so, but at the time I had the cash and was feeling ****.

Re: ek h22 costs (DxTrix)
i did what darkknight did and decided that while i had the engine out, i would replace everything pretty much. i ended up buying a 300$ clutch and some other goodies and costed around 5,000$ but i also opted for stage2 axles, which are rated for more than double the stock HP.

im thinking that he paid two different ways or something, the swap at hmo is like 2000 + the LSD tranny + s/h so 2686 would be about right for those two combined charges.

Re: ek h22 costs (numbnuts22715)
I copied it all out of my quicken account. It looks like that b/c they could only take 2000 out of my account in one day.
And believe me, that is not the minimum needed to do this swap. Just looking at that list, i could've got it in my car and running well for less than $4,000.
