EJ1 H2B setups, please post pictures of your hood clearance
Hello everyone, I am debating rather I want to do a H2B conversion for my ej1. The issue that concerns me the most is the hood clearance. I have read about about both H2B kits that are offer on the market. The QSD kit, with factory axle alignment but tilts the engine forward resulting in tilting the intake manifold up. The Evo kit which sits lower in the engine bay but the axle angles are not ideal. Does anyone else make a H2B kit besides QSD and EVO? Can Ej1 H2B owners post pictures so I can see what you guys did with the hood clearance issue, if any. Every reply will how me determine my final disscsion. thanks

I used the Qsd kit in my eg and had to cut the hood webbing and i used 1 inch spacer. it just looks weird at first but you get use to it rather quickly.

He said that he didn't need to prop the hood in the back and has yet to have a single axle problem (running 10.84 in the 1/4) with the Evo kit.
