- EG Type R Front End - LS Swap -
Wattup, this is just a little log of the swap me and my buddy Dale M. are doing.
Started with a stock EG shell with an almost blown to hell motor... that defenitely had to go right away. So to start things off with Project Jay D M... used the integra base motor B18B...
I've never done a swap before, well completely on our own with no one's help.. It was a great experience and was quite fun. I highly recommend every tuner should have experienced with this at least once.
Dale doin some final touches to the temporary headers
Here i am connecting the bottom side of the exhaust to the cat
The front end of this eg with the patented jdm front end .. may not be the type R lights but they are gsr.. jdm none the less baby.
The Side of this beast which defenitely needs a paint job or a nice new coat of primer.
Dropping in the LS was fun, i had a block and a tranny to put together, hopefully when we crank it up i hope have any major problems... i'm pretty sure we bolted the tranny on correctly, I need to find the right torque settings still if anyone could help me with those that'd be great. Taking out the sohc and puttin in the LS was a quick 2 day process now wiring it up and getting things to work correctly is another story
The Finished Product (unwired, not starting)
AFter all was complete we finished up by washing up in the public urinals hahaha
I'll post more pics soon with more details on the oh so simple ls swap :-p hehe
thanks for viewing.

Wery good job. I was started same way, when don't want to pay anymore mega prices to somebody for that funy job. If you did something buy your self that alot better feeling.
