eg si to si-r II swap problems
my friend and i decided that we probably had enough knowledge to do the swap are selves which pulling the engine out was simple, the only problem is as we went to put the new engine in is we arn't exactly sure where all the hoses and plugs go since we striped the engine apart
1. is there any book or site or anything that can give me an easy diagram to which goes where
2. i want the engine compartment empty, what can i all get rid of, ac and lines are already gone, but i want to get rid of any hose egr, or thing not needed, besides p/b and p/s anything at this point would help

Best is to get a digital camera and take pics of some of the hoses and where they are comming from and post them up.
Much easier to do it visually then guessing what you are talking about

it's pretty simple, just plug up the ones you knoe first start with the injectors/alternator/dizzy/starter/02 sensor once your harness is routed everything will pretty much fall into place. as far as vaccume lines theres really not many maybe 4 or so total good luck with the swap...
