EG B18C Swap
Hey Guys,
I have a 94' Civic EX I just bought with a b18c swap. I am having trouble with it loosing power at 5,000rpm and choking all the way to 6,000 where it picks up somewhat again but yet still produces less than what it should. My exhaust is a little loud the way its setup, so you can hear the exhaust note change at 4,400-500, which leads me to believe that vtec is functioning properly. I drew vacuum on the secondary intake controller and it held the butterfly shut at -12in if I recall correctly but I wonder if the iab solenoid is wired properly. Could someone confirm pnk/blu and a 12v+ is appropriate for my setup? Also can anyone come up with any other explanation for my motor misbehaving so bad at those rpm ranges? Any help is greatly appreciated.
