ED7 mini me options
The ed7 I have is burning oil. Big shocker, right?
I want to see if I have this all correct. I can use a z6 head and fuel rail/injectors. Need z6 distributor or hack on the a6. Best factory manifold is the y8 for the application. Fuel management and vtec would be the Apexi VAFC.
My catback is trash. Is a 2.5" over kill for this? I am considering a T25 and 7-8psi as well. I'd like to source the shortblock and head so I can have a G2G and do this in a weekend.
Looking to be economical on this. Otherwise a b20 vtec would be the way to go, but I am trying to keep it simple. Turbo is an interesting option.
Mini me swaps have been beat to hell and back as far as discussion goes. As long *** I see *** performance increase over what I have, I can see no drawbacks.
Any negatives on this? Are the differences negligible should I just rework the a6?
