Default d16y7 with a z6 head?

I wanna go mini-me just wonderin if the Z6 will bolt up to the Y7..I know everyone's usin the Y8 for the Y7 mini-me...but will the Z6 work...I ask cause I can get a Z6 for dirt cheap...

only thing would be more sensors on teh head/im for the OBD2...

anyone know if this would work?

yea, it will work...but you need a z6 distributor, plus you will need to run an RPM activated switch to the VTEC solnoid...but you are going to need some sort of AFC to adjust the fuel curve...i think it would be better off if you just bought the y8 head and ECU...no need for the y8 dist. plus the y8 flows much better...

I though they only had like a 3HP diff if tha teven?

also if I ran a Y8 ECU I wouldn't need a vtec activating switch right?

YES you won't need the vtec switchs, USE THE ECM form a y8 cause i did an mini-mi with a vafc and, the vtec fuel curves are way better with a stock ecm, plus the vafc is a pain to get even close to right, the vafc was not cutting it, so get the ecm from a y8 or buy a nice HONDATA good luck
